Voter registration deadlines

• Online registration deadline: 11 days before Election Day
• Register by mail deadline: Must be received 11 days before Election Day
• In person registration deadline: Available up to and including on Election Day

Utah Primary Election: June 23, 2026 

*Political parties use primaries to determine which candidates will run for their state’s partisan offices in the general election

Ways to Vote

If voting by mail: Your mail ballot must be postmarked by the U.S. Post Office the day before Election Day, November 5, 2026 as Election Day is November 6, 2026. You can also drop your ballot off at a drop box location before 8:00 pm on Election Day. Find drop box locations near you.

If voting in person:

Polling locations will be open 7:00am-8:00pm
